Question for the one person who has it:

Is it impedance sensitive (i.e. can I put it after a buffer)?

I'll post an audio clip today with a buffer in front.

Thanks!

Not a dealbreaker, just means it'll go up or down on my list of priority a bit.

If it doesn't care about a buffer, or it's still good, might knock an Ampeg Scrambler clone out of my buffered loop.

Here's the Carcosa w/buffer clip. As you can hear there is a slight change to the highs but it is easily compensated for with the HI-CUT. Only you can decide if the change is significant.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, it is looking like the end of next week.

Thanks, sounds like it'll work fine post-buffer for what I need (and have a ton of EQ options if it's that minimal on tap anyway)!

I didn't realize you were a HNW person. That makes... four of us? Even if I don't really make it for anything other than personal consumption.
Five if you count invisible people. I use it at work to concentrate and annoy colleagues. I also sleep with white noise, though not the same kind, as do my daughters. It sounds like a modulated digital apocalypse when I get in the shower at 5am with three machines droning away. My wife won't stand for Merzbow while sleeping, though.

rules! i could do with way less reverb, but that's my only complaint (it softens things up too much).

i agree, i know! i do that a lot. it's why i almost always record echo>reverb>loops on separate channels, except for off-the-cuff things i record at home: then it's 1 mic, mono, quick, stereoise it later.
