Dude, that Disturbed cover made the rounds in my FB feed recently, posted by several people whose taste I'd previously respected. That changed everything. Oy.

Should I feel bad if I unironically listen to Fightstar
It took me a while to recognise the gap-toothed brat, but it's the same singer, no way! I do not like his voice, yo. I don't know, maybe you should feel a little bad for enjoying it, it's definitely bad for you.. but after watching a few Fightstar music videos just now I can sorta understand the appeal. It's very slick and formulaic, but maybe because of that satisfying in a sick way, like eating a creamsicle you know has gone bad but it has sprinkles on it.
