I think it would be really interesting if all the contributors talked about the process they used to get to their final track. D.o.S. mentioned the "switching instruments" thread and a good point therein is that most of us sound like ourselves no matter the instrument, so I would be especially interested in everyone's approach/results in how we take the same source material and produce something that reflects our own personality of sound and form. Not a "requirement" per se, but the more of us that share the richer the experiment and experience would be.

This is a cool idea, wish I would have seen this earlier and got involved in the action.

Deadline for samples is April 9. I'll set up a gmail account so I don't have to clean out my PM inbox?

Instructions are still the same as in the OP, unless I should expand on something?

Does everyone have Dropbox? How many people can you share a folder with?

I was going to zip up all the samples and upload them as a singular dropbox link? (you don't need dropbox to download those)

I was just thinking if everyone had Dropbox you could create a folder to share with us and we could drop our samples in there and then download them all at the appointed time.

Makes sense to me. I could do it with Google Drive, too, if that works for peeps.

Dropbox and google drive are both cool with me. Seems like the best way to do it?

Now I'm thinking about my input tracks, this should be a fun week of recording!
