Must say, I've been convinced by the Nemesis, but am a little on the fence now. Which is the better digital delay? Is the Nemesis better because it does analog/tape better? I'm shooting analog delays out my peen peen, all I need is one awesome, all-encompassing pristine digital thinger.

I can make a clyp of the digital modes once I get home if you want. Or any modes/requests people have.

Having only played one for 30 minutes: I don't particularly like the sound of the DD-500...

That'd be awesome thanks. Really want to hear a guitar chord stab going into 100% wet 100% feedback (time sort of medium) to hear how it rings out/loops.

thing is: dd500 sounds pretty underwhelming out the box

as silly as that is, with a little bit of eq tweaking you can get it to sound as full as you like. even with all the over the top shit it can do out the window, you can basically craft any delay sound you want. that's if you want, seems like the nemesis sings as soon as you plug it in

dual delays is hella cool too

I tried doing what you asked, but since I have a hollow body the mic still picked it up. So I just played with it awkwardly for 4 minutes. Did the eq modes for it, then the different times and then moved on to playing with feedback. Sorry about the pops, my phone's microphone decided to suddenly join in on percussion.

And here's my favorite setting, which is the Shifter an octave up with vibrato. Instant unsourced nostalgia on tap. Again featuring my broken phone microphone on experimental noise soundscapes.

I need to stop buying pedals and get a new phone...

I spent a good 10 minutes meny diving. While I'm sure there are some cool sounds to be had, I prefer more tactile gear.

Thanks, dude.

Was that it set to full repeats at the start? Fades real fast. Also, is it still on the digital setting when it's oscillating at the end? Was kind of hoping it would just repeat the chords as cold and digital as possible and repeat for ages without feeding back.

It was set to low repeats in the beginning, actually. It only fades fast when you have the High pass filter all the way up. The feedback can get insanely long in digital, so I put it low, way too low in hindsight. As for infinite repeats, those can be achieve by placing the feedback at around 3:00. The oscillation was still in digital, sounds way different than the other modes too, the others have a warmer break up and more blurring. :V
It's not my best playing, as I picked recorded it right after getting home, sorry! There's also the degrade mode which is digital (minus the filters) with a bitcrusher in it. I was going to show you that too but then I remember I replace that mode with the Tape version of degrade in my unit.

No way man, I really appreciate it! Thank you. I guess I just need to get my hands on one and try it out. I need unabashed cold digital delay, not a digital delay that people like because it does analog really well, if that makes sense. Sounds like it can do both, at least (although i'm not too into the idea of digital mode oscillating). Anyway, thanks again.

Now that I listen to the recording on my computer...It's my speaker that's broken.
