Yeah I'm stoked for the grab bags.
With the unit 731 I'm more excited to see how he tackled the harmonic percolator than I am for the noise. I've got a necronomicon but to me it sounds best as like a dark glassy OD that you can all the sudden get some man is the bastard bleep bloops outtta. I feel like a lot of his stuff gets buzz for being crazy but also are just solid without the crazy gimmicks. Not that I don't love the craziness.

jwar wrote:I have the VHS delay. It's really good dude. I don't use it as a weird delay though. It's more of a standard delay sound I'm using it for. I posted a little clip on instagram and it's on of the pedals I'm using if you follow me. Mine is a blank box one. Just gray.
What's the link to your instagram?

I probably need to do just an isolated video of it alone. This is several pedals. Odd order too. lol

Listening to the amps they are based on. The Grim Ripper has the CMOS chip the SUNN BETA has. I strongly prefer the nastiness of the BETA over the 'T'. It's not a big deal...I will love it either way like I do all my pedals.

Word either way I'm sure it'll be sick. And if you end up getting the ripper you'll have your Sunn bases covered

It's not a straight clone but based on the distortion so I imagine it can get crunchier and nastier. I hoard pedals so I'm not worried.
Welcome to the forum by the way! It's a really cool place!
