$999 AUD by the looks of it
I love how these things are manufactured in parts of Asia much closer to Aus than the US and yet the gear exchange rate seems to be so ridiculously out of touch with the actual exchange rate. I bet it'll be a similar story for European dealers. Korg are super awesome but it makes it hard to get excited about new stuff when this happens cos they're one of the companies that always manages to stuff this up. A new microkorg is still almost $700 ffs.

Yeah, kinda makes sense though. Micro Korg $599 AU, MS-20 Mini $750AU , Minilogue $999AU, ARP $1500AU. Hitting all the price points. (Store DJ)

It'd make sense if you knew how hard it was to sneak something into prison

It's got a fucking sequencer too? There's no way I'm not buying this thing. I love those voice modes, so many possibilities.

It has a sequencer? Then I'll be flipping my microbrute for it at some point...

Yeah, apparently you can also record the movement of 4 knobs (if I read correctly) for each sequence, like on the Volcas.

Also : manual

And another demo (with a sort of unintentional Tim & Eric vibe

) :

Edit : and an official Korg video

Re-edit : that Korg video is the one to watch.

Great thing, it does seem to sound a bit clean and pristine though, more a modern day Oberheim than a true Korg I'd say.
You're not going to get those warm and/or nasty Polysix, Mono/Poly or Juno type sounds out of it so it seems.
Also, the Volca's seem much more gimmicky and now, more plastic and more fun (which I wouldn't usually say).
This is a serious modern classic polysynth but it might fall a bit too much into both categories to really do it for me, not heavy, dirty and nasty enough to do those modern sounds and not warm, big and thick enough to do those classic sounds.

I have an original (technical like new) Mono/Poly and I don't think that I want to sell it in this life. This is the only reason why I'm not GASing for the minilogue. It looks awesome!
FOUR voice ANALOG synthesizer for 500$! No, it's not 1986, it's 2016! What a privilege to live these days as a musician. Although the music of this century sucks so far IMO.
