This. I would go on to say that the Knobs aesthetic is so stylized and specific, the entire notion of using "everyman" gear is pointless - you have very idiosyncratic style of playing (that's a compliment) that even if you were playing bog-standard Squier / Marshall equations, it wouldn't make a difference to the average viewer. The whole APPEAL of your demos is that they're not "here's a popular riff, here's a different riff, now let's crank the gain and off we go."
I would even go so far as to say that because your demos are all about inspiration and exploration, you should be using the gear that inspires you to explore. The Ct5 (first demo of yours I saw) is not an easily obtained pedal anywhere you go - why does the guitar/amp you use need to be either? I do get the idea/allure of not using unobtanium multimillion dollar crystal-lattice guitars and amps, but I'd say that your stuff doesn't cater to that end of the spectrum, either.
Go with your gut - clearly, many of us here love where it's led you already.
