Then casecandy started trolling. Much like the other threads he's inaholidayatthesea wrote:Man this got real intense real fast.

Twice you've blown off my IHoP comments. There's simply no defending that organisation and JHS's (possibly tenuous, but alarming all the same) ties to religious extremism (not a dig at P&W). The Devi stuff is easier, I guess. I'm sure you're actually a decent guy, and I couldn't care less if you were a christian, but you're either trolling or you're someone I feel a little uncomfortable sharing a forum with.casecandy wrote:You're just a windbag, man. You rattle out one speech after the next, in which you sound like you are trying to achieve the Platonic ideal of being a pseudo-intellectual blowhard. I think you're alright and all but I honestly hate people like you, in general, IRL. Thank God for common interests.
If there's one thing I'm not, however much you bear this disdain for me, it is "posturing."
I lived in KC and shopped at their shop. There's nothing tenuous about it.Dungus wrote:Twice you've blown off my IHoP comments. Yup. I wasn't going to keep hammering on that. I just know that I dealt with them multiple times in one person and via email and on the phone. Not once did I feel at ease or like I wasn't being taken for a ride.D.o.S. wrote:IIRC they also gutted a vintage Distortion + of yours and nabbed the parts.
But I'm sure they're a great company that deserves our support.

LOL! this was my intent. I'm not interested in playing either of these pedals. I dig the look of the EHX Crayons though.aholidayatthesea wrote:Man this got real intense real fast.

I suppose the real test of his metal would be to ask him to sever ties with the organization and see what happens. Has this ever been proposed to him? Did he brush it off?D.o.S. wrote:Dungus wrote:If you can overlook the gay-hating International House of Prayer cult connections for ugly clones, knock yourself out.
