Again: People like different stuff, and that's cool. I did not mean to offend. Blues lawyer is just a funny term to me (that I picked up here and that makes it pretty clear what sort of demographic I'm referring to).
I gotcha, man. I will admit to being real sensitive about the "P&W" classification, because I am one of those who play music in a religious context and utterly despise the gear community associated with it.
I like Caroline a lot and seeing those associations reads, in my head, as an insult, since they aren't exactly terms of endearment. I can't know everyone's intent, though.
Pedal's cool. Gets real big. That shit oscillates. Check it out.

Walrus came out as hardcore blues lawyers when they released the Messner Über-Bluezy OD the other week
When they announced that pedal I couldn't help but wonder why they thought the world needed another low gain transparent overdrive. It's just too much. Doesn't Walrus have like two low gain drives already?

if you ever get shitty with the RM, hit me up.
A second could never go wrong.
You shouldn't worry too much about potential though. SO many people fall down at that one. As long as it does what you needs fuck everything else it can do.
If it can't even do THAT though, then we may have an issue.
