Sorry for the pop-punk.
Also, I will check it out. I haven't heard it.
I have to say, I dig this track.

So you guys woun't turn every thread about music in general into a punkpunk/emo thread if we all wear the correct pants and only post songs about cutting yourself because you mom wouldn't give you your allowance so you couldn't get you girl a mountain dew slushy from the circle k down the street so she dumped you? well that limits things don't it...

After listening to Savages play on KEXP, I appreciate this the same. The bassist has some smooth lines I like.

Ayse's bass lines are my main source of enjoyment with Savages. They're so catchy and driving.

I saw them open for QOTSA a few years ago. So damn good. The audience was naturally rife with bros, and it was more than palpable that they didn't know what to do with Jenny Beth. She was doing her Ian Curtis thing, messing with their manhood. It was glorious.
Still need to check out the new record, but I am expecting goodness.

Looking back on them, I am not proud of some of my actions in this thread.

I wanna mohawk but mom won't let me get one.
Feeling shit, so not bothering to listen to anything right now. This thread is great tho.
What was that Lou Reed quote about how one chord is good, two is acceptable, and three is jazz or however he put it? That's the only thing I can think of with all of this.

Somehow missed the skate shoes comment before. The only shoes I really wear are skate shoes. They're awesome, guise.

I'd agree with this, but I'm really digging this album.
