I enjoy ragging on this band as much as the next person, but I have to confess that I really liked them around the time of their first album. I got the Four Songs ep after seeing Operation Spirit on 120 Minutes. I had an ongoing argument with a Pearl Jam-loving friend of mine that year: "Live sucks." "But isn't it the exact same thing as your favorite band, Pearl Jam?"

Anyway, I didn't stick around for the next album when I saw they had a song on it called Shit Towne. "I can do better than that," I thought, although to be honest I kinda slacked off on that. Maybe if I hadn't been so hard on myself about terrible song titles, I'd have a Stadium Super Truck and be opening for Def Leppard in Australia right now. Fuck.

Unpopular opinion: Prözzak was actually good. They had a good aesthetic going on and, as all Canadian twentysomethings will tell you, they were an animated "virtual band" waaaaaaaaaaaay before Gorillaz. Plus this deep cut hit you wit dem feels pretty hard
