So, Case, I hate to say this, especially publicly, but that '68 band was actually...pretty...good.

And I've never been a fan of Josh Scogin before.

The best octave down pedal for guitar is the FoxRox Octron.

If the idea is "let's not have a bassist I'll just use an octave pedal" you may find yourself disappointed. I'd recommend borrowing items to test it before investing in something that may not work out for you.
No, no, I just want to add another dimension to my guitar

Something not unlike this maybe

This thread is awesome from start to finish BTW
Do this and stop giving a fuck.

I like The Chariot but it is important for you to know to make your sound from this and stop stop giving a fuck.

Glad you like them, me, he's sort of my favourite

I think he's saying go for it?

Anyways yeah I've definitely been listening to the '68 album all day.

Drum/Bass and drum/guitar duos are my favorite.

Wow I think I just turned someone else onto a band via ILF...? Where is D.o.S.? I need to like screencap this LOL

Also yes, that's why I want to do the octave thing. I just want to find a drummer to play with and make raw music.
(I had that setup but... Northern Canada sees people come and go. Alas, she got a BF down south, and that was that.)

Re: The '68, Josh et al. started doing the octave thing in The Chariot. They had an absolutely fucking insane backline built for them by Black Market Custom. Then their bassist quit but they just all made octave down rigs with all these big cabs. So much noise. I guess he's doing the same thing in '68 but with smaller amps, looks like a Silvertone in some videos? Apparently he destroyed some of the studio's amps recording that album... oops.

So... is anyone interested in trading me some sort of POG or other straight octave pedal for an EQD Organizer?

Tips from the pro shop.

Is the pitchfork the same sort of tracking algorithm/tech as the pog or what?
I thought you'd really be splitting hairs on that one?
Not throwing shade, just haven't played one and want some enlightenment. :snax:
I didn't design the thing so no clue but tracking isn't why I chose the pitch fork. The POG ALWAYS has some small amount of high and dry bleed even if those pots are all the way down. That makes anything you do have a synthy quality which I didn't want in my bass side signa. The Pitch Fork can do just octave down which solves that problem. It also has a clearer octave down with more brightness.
