Okay, so I remember the bass player in my old (OLD) band playing on one of these setups and that I really really loved the characteristic of it. So when I got a tip that one was put up for cheap I was immediately all over it. It's not too fancy, but it is loud enough and has the mix of transparency and and character that I was looking for. It was bought in '95 and put into storage in '99, so it looks fairly flawless. Picking it up this weekend. :joy:

That's a hell of a rig. Trace makes really awesome stuff! When I first started playing bass I wanted one so badly.

Sweet TE is what's up. Careful when playing loud with both cabs, a 1x15 only moves about half as much air as a 4x10. So it will be struggling to keep up and you'll have a hard time hearing it, lest you crank it, and at that point the 15" speaker will be begging for mercy. Either way, good buy.

And now the pessimism strikes. I'm imagining plugging into it when I'm there to pick it up only to find out that the head/pre-amp is fried. Nah, I'm going to keep my cool.

Thanks, duders!

Can't wait to hit this thing with some serious f00zz and dr00nz! :animal:
