Okay so the guy finally got all this PayPal stuff sorted out. He said the body is done and its just curing right now so he's going to send me a picture in the next day or two and it will be ready to ship next week!

So now I have to order pickups after I make sure the body turned out okay. Hopefully things will go smoothly from here on.

It looks like my projected Xmas finish time was accurate. There's another body on Reverb right now that I want to snag. Hardtail jag body with just a bridge pickup in dark wood stain

It's not totally done. He said it needs a couple more days to cure and another wet sand, but I wanted a sneak peek.

Paying it off soon and then it's on to hardware and pickups. And a new strap to celebrate! Gonna get a couch strap but I'm not sure which one.

I'm so excited to finally start getting this thing together. If I ever do this again though, I'm going to try to do it way cheaper. When all is said and done this is going to be around $700, which is actually really good, but I can't drop that much very often.

That finish is sweet. $700 isn't too bad at all. That's a good ballpark for what all mine have cost, sans the Bastin neck

Another month and still no body. He was supposed to have shipped it on November 8th but I never got a tracking number or anything and the guy won't answer my emails. I'm sick of this. I ordered pickups and parts and i basically have everything EXCEPT a body. I guess it's time to file a PayPal dispute if its not already too late.

In other news, these are mine! I didn't realize he finished them over a month ago!

Thanks man. I feel like I'm finally going to get it next week. He made me a custom Pickguard too. And he seems like a nice dude, just with poor communication and time management skills.

Putting together a cart right now with the rest of the stuff. About to update my wtb thread with more stuff.

I really want a couple cool toggles for my tone switch and killswitch. Any ideas anyone?
