First was a First Act distortion that I was given. Back when I still had my Peavey TNT100, I was able to do a pretty good job of Kyuss-y styled tones with the tone at like 4-5 and dirt at 5. I still use it for boosting my muff into chaotic, noisy, easiest feedback ever territory. :idk:

First one was the joyo voodoo octave fuzz. Love the sound of palm mutes with the octave engaged on that thing.

DOD Classic Fuzz. I remember thinking it sounded really shitty at the time, but I was like 13, so what did I know...

Now I wish I still had it, because of course I wonder if it sounds good-shitty.

2nd pedal was a DOD Envelope Filter, which I still have. It's definitely just regular-shitty.

Ibanez MS10 Metal Charger in 91 or 92. i loved the punch knob: made my Ross practice Amp really Bassy and "chucka".
I think the second one was a Cry Baby wah in 93.
In 94 i bought a MKIV sola sound tone bender for 70 marks. My fucking Brother may still have this somewhere...

Electro-Harmonix Little Big Muff. Bought it in 2006 or something like that.

My second pedal was a delay of some sort. I think it was a Rocktek I got used for like 10€. Then I got an MXR ZW44 to stack on the Big Muff and produce massive amounts of noise...

Behringer Bass Synth was my first; it was terrible... it has eleven different settings but only two sounds as far as I can tell... and it ignores the top three strings on my guitar. It has now died, but it has a crappy plastic case so I can't even use its corpse to make something better with. The second was a Joyo Analogue Chorus; also dreadful - huge volume drop as soon as it was engaged and very, very mild chorus (I'm not a fan of subtle pedals). I later modded it to create some excellent oscillations that I thought were great... and then ten minutes later it disagreed with me and died. Luckily the huge metal box it came in has become the home to a much better fuzz pedal that I built myself; so that makes Joyo better than Behringer in my opinion.

Bought a ODB-3 and a Bass Crybaby back when I first started playing bass at 13-14. I still have them and use them to this day.

I got an LM308 RAT on Craigslist for $40. It was all downhill from there.

First was an Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi, one of the wooden box ones from the late '90s. Bought it new in 2003! Around $100 CAD

Second one, a Danelectro Back Talk Reverse Delay, was $140, and was my favourite pedal. Incredible build quality. Unfortch it was "borrowed" by my brother and lost to the sands of time.

I still have the Muff, it got pissed on by two separate cats and needs a little soldering, but in theory would work!

First pedal was a Danelectro French Toast in the mid-late 90s.

Second was a NYC Big Muff in 2001 or so.

A Boss ODB-3 that my grandpappy bought me when I was a young'n. It was later stolen. Never did get much use out of it... but would've been nice to hold onto for the nostalgia.

First pedal I bought was an Ibanez Soundtank "power lead" which i played the shit out of and eventually it finally died, after many repairs. The second was an old Ampeg Phazzer that I bought for $30 and ended up trading for something that was, more than likely, stupid.

It was a Danelctro Fab Tone back in like 1998. It was a totally metal one and cost me 70 bucks. :) I remember being so fucking happy at the way it sounded with my Tele. I actually gave that pedal to a friend and he's used it for the past decade now. Absolutely loves it. It's great! I wouldn't use it on bass though. hahah
