That album influenced me a lot! Stanley Clarke did a few fantastic albums in the '70s and then again in the '90s till today. I also love the early synthesizer tunes on "School Days" and "Journey To Love", some of them played by George Duke. Chick Corea also has his genius moments on these albums. :love:

I'm totally late to the party here, but yeah... I absolutely love a lot of fusion and feel like it's one of the most misunderstood genres out there. I think it conjures up a lot of cheese dick Weather Report vibes in peoples' minds, but that's just a small portion and kind of a bad ambassador.

In a Silent Way has been on heavy rotation at my house lately. I'll gladly go to this place pretty much anytime.

Yeah, well, Miles transcends catergorization. Motherfucker was one of my all time favorite musicians.

In a lot of ways I prefer In A Silent Way to Bitches Brew.

This isn't fusion, but maybe it's close?
