Nooooo! Sorry! I edited that last post. :picard:

The Box Of Rock topology is a different beast (at least to my eyes) that's supposed to sound like a cranked Marshall, while the Super Hard On is a boost based on the circuit of an old mixing desk.

I still think the Double Rock is ridiculous, but I'm sure two of those together would sound great/like fried dinoslaw.

this thread is making me want to double rat and double wet reverb.

for you guys double ratting how high can you turn gain on each before you get squeally/need a noise gate? i imagine some peeps may be letting the squeal run free.

I used to use two Marshall Guv'nor 2s...when you get the gain matched just right with two identical fuzzes it gives you a compressed tone that's quite nice.

Stacking phasers or tremolo can be a good way to make them sound slightly less predictable. I know that often it isn't heard in the mix, but really obvious sine wave modulations can annoy me.

I usually end up with two slightly different versions of the same effect, rather than duplicate pedals. If I were performing regularly enough, I might get two The Elements again for different settings (but I'd probably go HoneyBee+Elements instead). Two Timelines seems fun, but so does Timeline+DD7?

Ed from Radiohead stacked a bunch of DD5's back in ~2000. Also, his new tour board has two DITTO X4's (one pre-delay and one post-delay).

Hahaha Stevie Ray had some indigestion.
The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents.

I've stacked 3 LPB-1s before. Got very silly with all of them going. It was possible to get some very udu able dirt tones with more subtle settings, though.
