That Montreal band CHRIST is actually a really good up-and-comer; the guy is on here. He deserves our support IMO!

I am all about the japanese post-rock:
LITE, sgt., té, toe, mouse on the keys. NATSUMEN, miaou, 3nd, jizue.
Not actually post-rock IMO but that's what people in last.fm say...so yeah.
I also like some american(continent) stuff like DMST, GY!BE, The Ascent Of Everest, Tristeza, From Monument To Masses.
And I love the Swedish post-rock that is more like pop with vocals...

But you are right, I just don't give a damn about lyrics since I started to play instruments.
Also... 65dos, Maybeshewill and And So I Watch You From Afar are fucking rad too.

ASIWYFA are fucking gods, but a bit different than your normal post rock band, more adrenalin, more mathy and agressive. Love the guys, one of the nicest bands I've met for sure, too

Iommicdude nah, we played with them at the first Dark MoFo in Hobart. They had a really pushy tour manager though.

DMST I find a bit patchy but their good records are AMAZING.
