Thanks, culturejam, that's the only kind of chorus I really like.

Hey Chank, a good friend has been gigging the Clusterfuzz for a few weeks now, and he came up with a setting he really likes that he feels does a great "60s fuzz" garage-tone kind of thing. We have a couple of "suggested settings" in the CF instruction PDF (http://function-fx.com/products/downloa ... Manual.pdf), but this one was not included.
Here it is:
Volume - to taste
Tone - Fully clockwise (Max)
Fuzz - Fully clockwise (Max)
8-Bit - Fully clockwise (Max)
Filter switch - Left
Clipper switch - S2

Thanks, I'll have to try that. I usually like pedals with everything cranked.
Yeah, I saw the suggested settings in the manual, but didn't try any.

Took a gut shot:
Because this is SN 138, does that mean I need to play some Misfits with it?

David Torn was cool enough to use the Clusterfuzz in a live demo recording. I think he's doing another one as well to explore the fuzzier side of the pedal. This one he uses mainly as a low-gain "push" for most of the track. Neat stuff, and all totally live. Sounds like 10 guys at work, but it's just David.

I listened to that. Sounds fabulous. Torn's a sonic sculptor.

And now another demo from David Torn, this time it's raunchy good fuzz.
