There's also this box which has absolutely no info attached to other than it's a prototype.

OK, I read the fucking website like I should've in the first place. The Tortam is the simple filter pedal.

For the past two years I've been working on it, looks like it'll come out in 2016, yada yada yada.

And so the pedal is a Low Pass Gate Filter with an envelope and send return jacks.

(This is the big pedal with no name yet)

CV/GATEを受けれてシーケンス走らせるといい感じです
The other filter is a simple filter pedal, it looks like it'll come out quicker.

It comes with CV/GATE control and is pretty good with sequencers.

Thanks :!!!: :!!!: So I dig the new knob, but think I liked having the light under the knob better? I can't tell, is that the additional 1/4 jack then? looks kinda small.

It's a 1/8" jack for I guess modular connectivity. Weird decision, but I think modular is pretty big in Japan so I can see why they did that.

Remember M.A.S.F mirrors the Japanese noise scene, and that's where they at right now. :joy:

The small jack choice is what lead me to believe that it isn't for an exp pedal and it is more of stuff with an actual control voltage (modular)....so unless you put voltage into a exp controller (and it sends a voltage like 0-5v), it wont work.

More for LFOs or something (or env generators).

Yeah that's what I was starting to assume too. Very cool :joy:

Any updates on the Raptio version 2? I really want a Raptio, but I might as well wait for the the new version to come out.

By the way, where do you guys prefer your Raptio to be in the signal chain?

I have (had?) it in the middle of my fuzzies, but mine is starting to act out. Sometimes it doesn't glitch, sometimes it does but the glitch volume is too low to hear it (even with the knob cranked). Defintely need a new one, and I'm going to wait for the V2 as well.

Hmm that's too bad. I know there's another poster on here (forget who) who went through a couple of Raptios that both stopped working.

 I'm never buying a masf effect again. 3 of their pedals died on me as of now: 2 Raptios and a Possessed. I can't even blame my power because it was all on a PP2+ going through a conditioner.

Now if someone can make a Make Noise PhonoGene/Mutable Instruments Clouds into a pedal...

I mean, technically the Clouds is open source, so it can be done.

My Raptio has stopped working now too. Used it 10 or so times when i first got it and it sat in a box the last 6 months.

You guys are scaring me.

Btw, if you have the Raptio set to glitch, you need to flick the switch up and down (or is it down and up?) after powering it up, if not it will not emit any sound.

^Interesting, thanks for the tip. That'll be good to know if/when I get one. And I've read that the Possessed and Raptio can't handle dirt going into them... Maybe that's why it's crapping out on a lot of people? If I get one, I plan on putting it first in my chain.
