Keep the pedals. Live in a barely furnished house. Sleep on a mattress in the corner of the room. Fuck tv, there is nothing good on anyway. Store perishable food in an esky. Then slowly get things for your home. Thrift stores are good for getting things cheap. It doesn't take that long to build up what you need and then you will have it all. But live a sparse rock n roll lifestyle for a couple of months and you will be good.

So how much do poke-ho's cost where you're from? I've never met one but I've seen pictures on the internet.

============================

About the pedals. You have a lot of nice stuff. I didn't think this would go on to 4 pages. You dont seem to actually be a hoarder. If you were there'd be broken phase 90s, some ibanez tone-loc, danelectros, behringers. You wouldn't just have higher end stuff.

That said, if you feel like purging, or feel like you ought to, good for you. You should know what it is you use. If you answer truthfully. Same goes for just about everyone here.

Nothing wong with buying a TV. I'd suggest used. Let some other chump deal with the initial sharp depreciation. You've got pedals to buy.

Solid advice right here.
Thirded. Keep the higher end stuff. Get rid of the Boss, Zoom, Digitech/DOD, etc.

Oh, you have to catch them yourself. It's the master balls that gets you. Although, if you swim besides Svalbard, you can actually multiply them, as long as they're in the right spot in your backpack.

it looks like you sort of already made that decision: cut the ones that aren't on a board?

if you sell something, you will likely be able to buy it for a similar price. like an interest-free pawn shop where everybody wins.

This post makes little to no sense to me, so ah... watch out for polar bears on Svalbard. Be careful out there fuzzbreaux.

Also, fwiw, while OAM's post was almost correct, Kaos' post was exactly 100% spot on.

I'm going for a run now so that D.o.S doesn't get angry at me for eating too many pedals.

The Lovetone stuff I wouldnt sell, took me far too long to acquire and I adore it.
The Space Station has a lot of sentimental value. You can just get an XP all if you want those sounds (I have one of those, too!) but ill keep ol' yeller for ever
The FoxRox TZF is too hard to acquire again also, so that would stay. Some of the harder to get EHX too, like the MicroSynth and POG v1

Im considering getting rid of the Mobius - I only really use the chorus sounds, and I have the Cosmi. In fact I just rewired my board for the Cosmi and BitQuest in its place...
That and the HOG, as I have the POG and the Pitchfork now.

ho hum decisions decisions
Ian, as far as this post above goes it looks as though you've already sorted what to keep and not. (Also, it goes kinda well with what I was about to suggest).
I say sell the ones that'd be easy/cheap to get again. Also the ones of your own builds that wouldn't be a downright pain in the arse, but rather fun to build again if you wanted to. Unless there's one specific "mass produced" or of your own builds that holds a story you physically don't want to let go of, sell them.

I think it's down to a few things really. First of all what it's all about. Will you be using your pedals? Or is it mostly for collecting? And on both things, to what degree?
At last, remember, you have the ability to "clone" a lot of these soundmaking devices (and enjoy doing it) for a lot less moneywise if you end up longing for a special "basic" sound. And yeah, you don't have to do it all or nothing. Start by selling one or two pedals and see how it feels. Same with filling the house. You don't need to get every room crammed at once. Go for the basics/get rid of the dustcollecters first.

Hope you get that house!

PS. Don't move to far out in the countryside! I still want to be able to come hang with you and your misses whenever I'm in England and I'm still far away from a drivers license! =P. DS.

Ian if you move the Toneczar, pretty sure Excane knows a dude looking for one. So hit him up first. ;)
