I goofed on some fuzz pedals for having corny graphics, and some bros here got defensive about it.
Maybe it's marketed to the 14 year olds, and the Zakk Wylde fans.

Watched both videos. I feel so confused. That amp sounds like absolute shit. The tone king guy is still alive and making videos? And who in the fuck needs an amp with six channels and seven modes. What. The. Fuck. Randall.

I forgot this existed and immediately remembered some shredder dude trying to shred with this amp that turns everything into mud.
Loose, flabby cake batter toans.

I don't get it, It's ugly and that's cool and all, but It costs 100 more than a 100 watt diavlo head, which has more features and takes pedals well,
I hate to rag on Randall because I generally love the way their amps sound, but I just don't get this at all, especially if I am seeing the 1k price point right

Imagine how legit it would be if they sold it for $420 though.

Yeah they should have made it a skull smoking a skull bong, put some purple tolex on it, an obligatory wood grain panel and an obscure reference to wizards as well.
$420 and that's the complete package, right there.

I mean, if the Midnight fiasco taught us nothing else, it's that you CAN buy vest cred.

Just for advocacy of devilry, It might actually sound good in the right hands. That demo was just terrible.
But - it's still only a measly 90 watts. I get that sensible bands are moving to small amps that can be dimed in small venues, but this ain't that crowd.
It's small bands diming huge amps in small venues

Sure but you can buy three of them for our hypothetical price of $420 and run three PV stacks with it or something... but tbh doom is in a far, far better place now than it was 10-15 years ago, and you're more likely to be playing somewhere A) with a PA at all and B) with a sound person who knows how to deal with bands that know how to use volume -- which is not the same as "shitty heavy guitar band believing that they must turn up to 11", because that's been a thing since forever. The nice thing about being trendy is that you don't have to deal with "a hostile environment for doom bands", which remains my favorite reason to break up ever.

Well said.

It might be marketed for the beginner stoner rock/metal kids and/or the older dad rockers godsmack/nickleback/limp bizkit/KORN krew (now that their kids are older now).
I mean, I remember how I was as a n00b and I'm sure this would have appealed to me. fuckin' metal AND doom in one amp.......no way!
