I don't like the shitstorms spilling over from TB lately... This isn't TB2, this is ILF

I agree although I thought it was a legit thing to bring up and it was only talked about at that bullshit nunnery. Since there's no more examples of that, that's the last I'll refer to that place.

Someone mentioned Sonic Youth tones in another thread. I know it's meant for low tuned instruments but I'm imagining I can get some nasty harsh tones out of it too if I want
Well Sonic Youth routinely used Low C tunings so it can do both!

Really stoked on this. Timing couldnt be better ether. Still having switch issues with my twosome so if this works well enough it may cery well replace it as my high gain fuzz sound.

Don't need this as my dirt section is so legit as is but what the hell. For 40 bucks I bet it can be a badass boost with the gain turned down and then using the para-eq to boost specific frequencies. Looking forward to playing around with it though, and DOD has been killing it as of late so I imagine thing will rip as well.

I'm in it just for the eq. Digitechrep, any idea on the max boost/cut, frequency ranges, and what kind of q action this thing has?

Digitechrep posted some info on its EQ in the sale PSA thread on TGP.

Does it sound less diffuse than the Black Sheep Fuzz, or can it properly fill sonic spaces without post gain in the equation?

I can't remember what the frequency centers are off the top of my head TBH, I'm going to take a look at the schematic tomorrow and get that info. I ran out of time today.

Can you tell us why this is being blown out?

I remember when you let me try it at Namm with that amazing 6k Warwick bass and I bought shit my pants. LOL. Seriously amazing pedal.

It is simply overstocked and we have to clear some out. I've been dragging my feet on this but the recent move of Harman Warehousing from Elkhart to Moreno Valley brought some scrutiny from the gods and my hand was forced. ;)

I don't understand how that works. Like, a) why not just keep it at the regular price, or do a slight discount, and get more money in? and b) doesn't lowering the price of a piece of gear that much, make it less attractive in some ways, as it is now a "40$ pedal"?

I already tried a discount, as well as BOGO, and it didn't take.

Lowering the price usually makes it more attractive for people to try, not less. Stuff gets put on sale all the time due to overstock, pedals operate under the same market principles and pressures.

Okay, only asking cause I don't understand it. I can only speak for myself, but when I see an expensive piece of gear, I usually see the high price as a mark of quality.

I'm happy to get the discount, but man the people trying to sell theirs on Reverb right now must be pissed!

The best wristwatch I own I bought at a blowout sale and I saved literally hundreds of dollars. The quality is the same and I feel like I got a bargain, not a rip-off. Everyone is of course, free to feel however they want and no one is being forced to buy anything they don't want.
