Gotta love any pedal with a "Confusion" knob.

Finishing up the firmware/tweaks! One of the bigger challenges was making the loop seamless when "hold". It's not freeze-level seamless but it's now much better than the crackling of a raw loop turning over.

Also ran into problems in having both ring modulation and normal modulation active at the same time, so now it's either one or the other via toggle. Also ran into rare crackle/noise when cranking the modulation depth a lot, which I hope to fix over the next couple days.

Then implementing tap-tempo will be the largest thing. After that, it's mainly minor usability stuff. Such as clearing the delay/loop memory when switching delay ranges, and remembering whether hold mode was active on power-on.

Hey - a guy can dream, right?

just a loop in the 3.5-14 second delay range, then hold. playing around with the speed of the loop, the ringmod, and direction/freeze feature. I unlatch hold at 3 minutes and let the thing feedback on itself again.

Super cool, sounds just like...

I'm not worrying about production at the moment.

I want to make more anti nautilii this year, instead of the delay. There are only like 15 of them out in the wild, I want to try and double that by the end of 2015. Meanwhile, I can tweak this delay, add/change a feature or two, then figure out how to start making these once the nautilus has had a nice little run.

I'm not a business, just a part-time hobbyist, so I have to take it slow.

Totally understood. Although I have to say that you're a hobbyist whose hobby is building things that sound ABSOLUTELY AMAZEBALLS. So please take any and all    as a compliment to your work.

eh, thanks ;)
though I feel a lot of the hype is exaggerated. it's not like you don't see these things for sale second-hand. they aren't for everyone, which is fine.

mainly finished the firmware, and I've already started on a demo video. thing left to do is tap-tempo but personally I never use that, so I can patch that in whenever, some other time.
