Ken is good at fuzz. I'm sure I can find a good reason to get one to pair with my 2nd voice.
Good deals: OsbornKT, Phantasmagorovich, UglyCasanova, DarkAxel, Skip, D.o.S, ColdBrightSunlight, Eivind August, Goroth

Its weird, its less of a drive pedal and more of an extreme tone colorer. theres some gain but it never gets too hairy, even maxed out.

When I push it with other pedals, I really hear the separation of the two drives. Even more so with an octave up fuzz before it. I really love this thing. I gotta stop spending money though, I'm trying to save up for when Jwar flips that Polytope ;)

Also. Didn't mean to turn this into a Driving Notion thread, but that's fine too. Not enough info online about this fine little box.

Pics were just posted today and it looks killer. $99 is a steal.

This just seemed kinda up Devi's alley and with her on the demo :idk: I just thought maybe they'd worked on it together or something. Honestly I'd be down for more Devi designed stuff as long as someone else handled the business side of it
And I do love the look of Infanem pedals.
Yeah, ditto. No offence meant to Ken and his designs. It's just that (for better or worse) the world of fuzz is way less exciting to me without Devi in it.

:idk:

In the same way that a stable relationship is less exciting than an abusive yet passionate one?

Still no specs or bass demo. Specs were supposed to go up the 10th, then the 11th. I don't care necessarily, I just hope this means Ken is super busy getting our pedals ready to ship :!!!:

Details! Is it just a standard expression pedal in cool enclosure, or is there more?

no, no....it's just the standard extension pedal for the faye's her, it has two inputs for expression pedals...one for each phaser. he's just not making them anymore so he had to retool or whatever, really cool of him cause it turns the faye's her into a real monster. I just needed a second one cause i lost the first one.

in that breadboard demo this pedal gets so synth with just the tiniest hint of squealing here and there. like a more tame version of the LAL Octavella in some regards.

Definitely a cool demo.

SPEX!

The 141G Fuzz follows a typical Infanem formula: start with inspiring sounds, stretch them further with intuitive controls, then pack everything up neatly in the smallest possible enclosure. The result is a fuzzbox that pairs a huge range of modern textures and oscillation tones with classic touch sensitivity.

You also get high input impedance so the 141 G plays nice with all input sources, bass-friendly frequency response, and no finicky temperature sensitivities. And, thanks to its transparent gate control, you can have all the wild oscillation-driven fuzztones your heart desires while gating out oscillation between notes.

Controls:

IN-
Input gain.

OUT-
Volume. There's plenty on tap and a logarithmic potentiometer keeps it smoothly controllable.

FOCUS-
Filtered variably positive and negative feedback loops! These are the secret to the 141G's tonal range. Start at 12 o'clock and experiment.

LOW: Mostly affects the bass and low mids. Turn it up for more doomy rumble and a muffier feel. Trim it down for more sharp definition. Oscillations from higher LOW FOCUS settings favor subharmonic pulses and bass drones.
HIGH: Mostly affects the treble and high mids. Turn it up for more blow-your-ears-up noiserock screams and high note definition. Trim it down for less abrasive sounds. Oscillations from higher HIGH FOCUS settings are (??? this part just cuts off)
GATE-
A transparent gate control that retains all of the character, tone, and feel of your fuzztone without the noise between notes. Indeed, your source remains connected to the fuzz circuit and the circuit is allowed to continue oscillating; it's just disconnected from the output.

The gate triggers directly from the input, allowing the threshold to remain fixed regardless of IN/FOCUS settings.

So yeah, very excited.

Yeah, the demo sold me more than any specs will though.

Yeah definitely! But about reading what's possible with it only adds to the anticipation
