Any thoughts on this? I want a reverb for bass, but really don't know what I'm looking for in a reverb. Having so many options, this seems like a safe bet.

Urrrr, TC Electronic's website is a huge pile of crap. They don't even have a proper list of the various reverb settings (with proper, factual description) and all the text is written as if they were talking to a 5 years old who has no idea of what reverb is.

Okay so I got to do a nice demo of this in a store the other day with an American strat and an old roland JC50.
I haven't played the original trinity so I don't know how it compares to that, and I wanted to like it because a verb pedal for haunting ethereal sounds is a rad idea... But honestly it sounded pretty awful. The modes are basically presets because the knobs have very little range, it was quite loud and the modulation is really overt and in your face, and the way it blooms when fully wet feels kind of awkward, like there's not enough predelay or something.
I'm guessing the tone print editor could coax a lot more sounds out of it but as a stock unit I was pretty disappointed...

I don't know. The HOF is a pretty good verb. Wish it had more Toneprint slots and reverse but otherwise sounds good. I wont be selling mine for this.retinal orbita wrote:What? Fuck this!! I just bought a Hall of Fame!!
