I completely get compressors and whatnot
But within a live context they just never did it for me
I found I have more control over my sound with modulation and wah pedals

So Behnders, I heard EHX is making a Klone with a built in compressor circuit as a dual pedal just in time for Xmas.
Gonna call it the squishy-donkey-man on rye.

Anyone have a compressor recommendation for drop f tuned bass in a fast setting? I've been thinking that's what I need to make sure my notes actually sustain tuned that low.

couple of things that are always on for me
Homemade Klon buffer. Might be useless, but it does no harm, and I have mine set up as a splitter, so I can run buffered clean out anywhere I want, too.
Dinosaural OTC-201 Compressor. Just seems to be great. Miss it if its off. DAT FEEL.
Other than that I'd say a Dr Scientist Elements should cover many many bases for many many people. I love mine. I actually fancy a second one.
