I think it's some judicious use of a marker. Same as the purple black flag-ish sticker and around the big black circle on the horn of the guitar. Horn? Whatever. The cutaway. Although the cutaway has obviously been cut away, so the sticker isn't on that.

Ah yeah possibly. It kinda looks like the bridge has been coloured in purple too?

Yeah, all the coloring is done with paint pens. It has come a long way within the seven or eight years I have owned it! In the past year I have made it a lot more colorful with the help of digdugdiy and zwan stickers (i hate zwan, but the album came with sweeeet stickers) and some more paint pen work.
