My feet/legs fall asleep when I do this
I think stools can help with your posture...or hurt it as well. Have to make it a point to sit up straight'ish haha.
Yeah my legs fall asleep too. I suffer for my art.
ugh. i'm getting OLD. i do that alm the time, but squish down in front of my board. and stand up after a half hour or more with solid rod of PAIN in my back from being hunched over so long.
i just use the office chair in my bedroom or couch in the living room or grab a chair from the dining room and try to pay attention to not leaning over.
YAY AGE.

I use the keyboard bench. That I use for my keyboard. When I sit at it.

I'm having trouble grasping this concept. Can you go over it one more time a little slower?

there's ...this place where I have my keyboard. and its too low. So I bought a keyboard bench. This very bench is what I use to play guitar. BUT it is also the bench I use when I sit at my keyboard. To play it. While sittting. In a seated manner.
Hope this cleared some thing up!

When you say "cleared things up" what do you mean exactly? Why are you clearing things up? Why not down, or any one of a multitude of directions? Why clear things at all? Why not just explain what you mean by this cryptic bench thing you've got going on?

I mean that I hope I caused understanding amongst all reading. As far as clearing things UP, everyone knows that since gravity is so strong and pulls and weighs on us all, that the Zen way would be to create balance by making more things go up, against gravity. This will also put less strain on our planet.
As far as making things clear at all, I mean that there ought to be no obstacle in seeing the matter for what it is, instead of hoping for translucency, as in the case of sunglasses or blurry vision (my apologies to those with blurry vision, I do not intend to offend).
I have been attempting to explain my bench, but I have been failing. Maybe if I explain it itself instead of how it it used.
Okay, so its a rectagle made of some sort of wood, I assume particle board or plywood. there's an artificial black leather wrapped over the padding and stapled to the wood part. there's these metal oblong slots with hole in it. the holes are filled by retractable pegs that help to adjust the height of the bench.the pegs are also connected to black legs that criss-cross in and X shape. the end that doesn't have the pegs touches the floor and has protective wrapping to prevent damage to hardwood floors.
I think that's about it, I'll be sure to edit or re-post if I find this information flawed.

Um.... I think that's missing the point of bench.
I've never heard of installing a buffer, I'll ask the guy who works on my guitar at Sam Ash if he can install one. I don't think breathable wood will make a difference if its covered in padding and artificial leather. But I only own a cheap store-brand bench.
The point of my bench is that its dual-purpose. It was made for keys but I have it professionally set-up to be used with guitars as well.
I feel sorry for all those people using stools. As stools are inferior. I've heard that padding doesn't even help, that some people take pills to make them softer. I don't know. Bench just works for me.

I'm sure it is because guitar being a inferior instrument you are unaware in the innovative and superior technologies that go into double bass stools, it's ok though, for a instrument like a guitar any old bench should do

I usually sit cross-legged atop my 115 cab. BEST SEAT IN THE HOUSE (especially when running my Cubic).

My roommate stole a chair from my college two years ago that I've been using. Or, I just lie down on the ground and stare at the ceiling. That's pretty nice. I have a decent rug for that too, it really ties the room together.
