Sounds amazing! Just not a fan of the enclosure or control setup.

But it's trying to be authentic to the vintage original.

It is a strange set up! To me it just comes down to tone. It's not rocket science to operate, just get the very best sounding stuff and make music. I think these Dizzy Tones will be very cool studio pieces, a conversation piece for sure, highly collectable in the small quantity we are doing but definitely not a pedal board space saver or hit of the year for pedal board ergonomics junkies.

I totally get it, but I like having the controls be a bit more accessible (my taste).

The knob side should be turned towards you. The footswitch is nearly on top of the unit so your foot is going to travel the same distance regardless of which way the unit is turned. Curious design from 1967... the Maestro Fuzztone set the shape standard. Another really strange thing about the original was that it had a momentary footswitch which was stock. So they thought guitarists would use the Dizzy Tone for a few lines whilst holding their foot down on the unit. Without the true bypass switch we added you honestly do not want to hear the level of tone suck these puppies have.
