I could definitely revoice yours so that it lets all the low end through the vibrato side... but I'm not sure that will result in what you are looking for. In fact, I'd be a bit worried to do it because of the shipping costs... in the event you didn't like the mod, it could turn into kind of a shitty situation.

I'm not really advertising the mods because it's not something I really like to do... and it has a few pitfalls.
Thanks Joel!
I don't exactly know how but the Warped Vinyl is one of those chorus pedals that I'd call "studio grade", yet indeed doesn't have a cheesy sound, it's also awesome as a faux detuned second oscillator when you use it with a synth type sound.
Understood, I'll send you an email, maybe I have another idea on how things could be done.

I've said it before when I did my demos and I'll say it again.... Warped Vinyl is my #1 modulation pedal of the year.
(I don't like boxing it in to a category, but it has to have some label I suppose. )

The amount of things you're able to do with the dip switches is staggering. This pedal is flat-out fucking AWESSSOOMMME. :animal: :!!!:

This is the first I've heard of this pedal and quite honestly if I had the cash I'd buy one in a heartbeat. Fuckin amazing.

It is noisier, grainier, also changes the base delay time on the vibrato.

Read the thread. It's been covered as nauseum that international shipping isn't 100 bucks.

There are now dealers in several EU countries including Germany, UK, Spain and Italy. ( you won't be interacting directly with Joel though! )

I was making a general point about the price.

It's £299 in UK. That's USD $500.

A few thoughts on mine and my experience with it/Joel in general:

- He was an absolute fucking dude about the international shipping (AUS) for me in the early days, I was an early supporter, I think mine is low/mid 20's and he knocked a bit off it to get the ball rolling. It was an amazing way to build rapport and trust and good vibes between himself as a service provider and me as a customer. Was good shit for sure.

- The pedal itself is absolutely shit hot. Initially I was a little bit lost but now about 6 months down the track I am still stoked and surprised each time I play around with it. My fav setting is this kind of static detune/hollow almost subtle flangery thing where you put the rate and depth at about 75% and turn the rate knob to zero. Saved in my left preset. There is also this faux ring mod type thing that it does where you set it to square wave, tap in the fastest rate you can and then multiply it by 8 with the switch. You can play around with it and make it kind if subtle and that's awesome. Everything else rocks as well, I think it's pretty hard to feel like you are not underusing this pedal, but it's just the nature of the thing with it's 16 fucking dip switches. Which are super cool.

- I have noticed a slight high end roll off at higher mix settings and I have had great success running a comp (xotic SP) and a SHO style boost/Light OD type pedal after it. Helps it cut when there's a heap of shit going on, makes it's work very very present. I dunno how to explain it properly but I had a zendrive clone after mine and adding little bit of boost with some EQ shaping to taste helps a heap. I have a SHO type pedal coming soon which should be pretty sweet I think.

I paid about $370-$380 AU to get mine here in those early days and I couldn't be any fucking happier with it to be honest. Just all round good shit.

Minus shipping, vat, import taxes/levies, plus mark up for the retailer, sounds about right.

Sorry for harping but it shits me when the builder has explained the pricing and the shipping, users have chipped in, and we still can't discuss the bloody pedal.
I also don't understand why it's ok to pay 100 dollars for a fuzz face, with what, 11 components, but it's inconceivable to pay three times that for a pedal infinitely more complicated, with way more current r&d costs to be recouped, and that has there presets, essentially allowing you three pedals, given the fact that you can modulate any parameter and save that setting. If I wanna switch between light fuzz and heavy fuzz I need to buy two fuzzes. It's not unreasonable to pay 150 bucks for a small scale manufactured fuzz. Bam - that's three hundred right there.

Yes it's pricey but there's an awful lot of evidence pointing to it being good value. Shit I was sceptical In the beginning and payed out Joel for the (incorrect) shipping, but this thread has made me really shed light on a lot of the questions I had and I think there's enough info in here that we can discuss more than the fact that it's pricey.
