:excellent:

Yeah, then, you'd need to design a proprietary Dirge expression pedal with the proper value. :D

The Skullpression pedal.

Hahahahah

Gonna see if I can make the vero layout on my own, sometime this week. If I can't, I might reach out to a few people I know that could make a more concise layout than I.

Sorry if I woke you up this morning Evan but I Couldn't resist. Also I would love one of these in a wah enclosure.

Awesome! From the comments on Eric's thread, it sounds like there's some room to grow/Dirge-ify too.

The base design doesn't offer much headroom--possible technical limitation--and it sounds like the output could use a boost or compression or both.

Plus the expression stuff. And maybe transfer to highpass?

I'd be down for a Skullfilter.

I'm actually not a huge fan of the Moog Low Pass filter on my guitar/haven't found a setting I like when it's used after any other pedals. I like it on synths, but it seems to just suck a lot of the life out of my guitar signal regardless of how open the filter is [which to me kind of defeats the purpose] or how much resonance is up. I think I may just need to save up for a MuTron, or get a Q-tron and deal with any EHX issues that come up to get that more quack sound. I like a few of the different filters that are on the Eventide Modfactor. Modfactor plus expression pedal is a solid combination.

Somewhat related, but not the same imho, is the Pigtronix Philosopher king. Kind of interesting with the swell setting, though I personally never clicked with how the swell was triggered. I do dig the swell on the the Prescription Experience. I almost feel like he could pull a few of those elements out into their own pedals. The Fuzz, the Octave, and the Swell could be interesting individual pedals.

Regardless, I love me some filters and would love to see more of them on the market.

Count me in for the filter in a wah enclosure. I honestly have no clue what I'd use it for, but I need it.

I'm in the exact same boat, but I'm definitely gonna skip eating well at work for a month or two to grab it.
