actually, i think you CAN patent pedalboard design. i think Pedaltrain has the slat design as theirs. that's why you don't see anybody else doing that.

i think a pedalboard builder told me that? am i tripping?

If any of them actually filed a patent application, then yes a novel pedalboard design would patentable. If Temple filed a patent app and the Custom District guy doesn't fight them on it and file a competing application, then he's out of luck.

I was just trying to point out that it's not worth getting upset about. Competition is a good thing!

lol. COMPETITION good. stealing someone's idea and profiting off of it.... BAD.

mebbe this was unintentional theft? dunno. just sucks when someone works hard and gets screwed out of their just rewards ne?

Having looked at this board and knowing/using my Custom District board for a couple of years now, I would much rather be using the board I have. Having a 2nd (and 3rd Tier) and the open space behind, and all the little bonuses like being able to wrap extraneous power supply cable around the knobs, different types of plates with risers, and sub-platforms.

The best thing about working with Custom District is the guy behind it Elon. Really nice guy that takes customer service to a new level. He was excited about doing a bunch of crazy stuff on my first board, and my second board was pretty amazing feat of engineering. Was hoping to submit for BILF but i'm waiting for a pedal to get back from being etched by Danny W and a few other things, but I hope to post soon when everything is on it.

Here's my previous board, just for reference:
