That's what I was getting at, have one and LOVE it... DCOs stay in tune, it's the VCF and VCA that you want to be purely Analog...

dude. dual filter w/ VCA for different modulations? could be awesome! plus it'd be so much more convenient for running other things through. needs a pedal button for bypass.

AH doesn't but thanks for switched on! $280 though. i dunno. once upon a time MeSoFuzzy swapped me his 106 for a PC i didn't need. it needed chips swapped out (which i did) but still, i'd have to see if 106s are selling for like 4x that much now... it'd be a sweet addition but probably not worth it since i've got a 106. hrm.

Yeah i know. I went through like a million delays and then finally spent the 300 for a dmm and that stopped the search dead in its tracks. I just bought an echorec after just having the dmm for a year. Man the echorec sounds killer through the dmm. Amazing. Delay is the spaciest thing in the world. People are just delayed waves in time and space.

We are all particles of atoms which are either here or not here depending on the time and space from which we are viewed...

Get a good Synth...

On a quantum level we are both here and not.

So buy more gear.

those are all i can think of. basically "affordable" synths, some probably more affordable than others. features and sound obviously all differ quite abit (you'll have to do the research) but yeah, these are all at pretty okay price points depending on your budget of course. i personally went with a dark energy (sound, semi-modular, looks, superb build quality) for lead sounds and a minitaur for bass (because, well, moog). but that was before alot of the synths above became available. i prefer a module type synth because i suck at playing keys, dont really think of synths as a "keyboard player", prefer the feel and compositional method of sequencers, and if i really want to play a keyboard, i have a cheap keyboard controller (alesis) which i use to play different synths
