Simplicity vs complexity in pedals

I never rely on my guitar knobs or pickups for sounds. In a live situation I can't turn those knobs fast enough or accurately enough to change from one sound to another. So I let pedals do that job.

I like as many knobs as possible so I can sculpt a nice complex, textural, evolving sound, but once it's there I rarely touch it.

This is my philosophy, functionally. Once I get things dialed in the way I want them to be then I don't really fuss with them. But until I get them the way I want....

the thing that gets me sometimes is when u turn the knobs and you can't tell the difference in the sound.

It really really depends of what kind of sounds I'm after.

Got rid of the POG2 and kept the micro POG because I just simply need it to work. On the other hand, wish my Timefactor had even MORE controls.
