I just want a lowish-medium gain drive with a good EQ.

Any of y'all use the Walrus Audio drive? I've heard good things, and they seem to sound pretty good...

Mid-Fi Overdrive just kick the Liquid Gain Hydra out of my board.
Hydra was one of my first good pedal and was in every incarnation of my board.
So, that is something!!!

Too busy this weekend, but I'll try to shoot a demo next week.

This should do the trick. Its a clone of the systech harmonic energizer, a really cool vintage pedal I like using but hard to find now.

There's a demo for a new drive in the spam forum. I started the thread. Give it a look if you wanna.

I'm a big fan of my Earthquaker Devices Talons. Great EQ section and a presence knob for cutting through the mix. If ya set it up right, it can do from real low gain OD to high gain distortion/fuzz (depending on how you set up the EQ). Really awesome OD, I love it!

Might be joining The Elements party...With my bday coming up soon and Ryan's ILF bday discount, seems like it may be a good place to try! Plus, I've always wanted to try one.
But the Mini is still triggering major GAS.
And the Ruckus.
And the Internet.
WHY ARE THERE SO MANY GOOD DRIVES!?
