Yeah, this is really stressing me out not knowing what day this will all go down. I must frantically keep checking back. I wish we could do a pre-order signup kinda thingy, or at least be given a specific day and time on which to get on and sign up. Alas.

Between this project and the new kits that are (I hope!) currently in the works, I'm pretty pumped about mellowtone. And to think that dude has all this going on while trying to revamp the whole line, as well as constantly having to fill Wolf Computer orders for Tom @ FH, and even doing sweet charity auctions on top of that! Geez, maybe I shouldn't be so pushy about not knowing when the signup will be, I'm just impressed that one person can juggle so many awesome projects at once.

So, I will check back here daily for updates. :excellent:

So I have some artwork form someone else which is quite different than what I attempted, is more cutesy, so maybe its lame, but more manga book panel-ish.......

for those curious about how preordering will work, this is what I did with the melxowtones.

i took prepaid preorders for a certain period of time (I think it was only a few days because it filled up very fast). i dont know how long I will keep the orders open this time, im guessing 2 weeks tops or ntil 50 orders (the most I can possibly handle) are filled. Once all orders are in I place the parts order. With all the orders prepaid then a) I dont get anyone who flakes out of their respective pedal and b) i can order the parts in large quantity which gets me price breaks which is good because I try and keep this as cheap as possible.
this time around I will also be using professional pcb's which will also be ordered at the same time.
while we all wait for parts to come, I make up the labels in everyones choice color scheme.
parts come, i get to work. i cant remember specifically how long it took me to get everyones pedal built for the melxowtones, but i think it was 2-3 weeks to build 40 of them. While I will be using pcb's this time (instead of perf board) which will save me some time, I will also be doing two footswitches, and potentially dc jacks and leds for some people, so I will estimate the build time at 3-5 weeks for all them.
And then they ship out!

Awesome! I'm ready!

Any way you could shed some light on what the pedal circuit will sound like and how many trim pots it'll have, and what they'll do? :whoa:

Ditto...the only thing cooler than boutique fx pedals are custom made limited edition boutique fx pedals.

Ok, hopefully, unless people hate it (feel free to hate!) this is the graphic:

Image

It will be available in pre-boost or post-boost versions. I should definitely note, the circuits in here are essentially a Hi Five Plus at fixed gain settings, so if you already have one of those then this pedal won't be for you. I should also note to anyone, that to some degree this is a novelty pedal and should be considered such when purchasing!

I am not going to set up to take orders quite yet, but you can mess around with your own color schemes for fun until then. The only options I will offer is choice of text color and background color, fyi, but you can always have fun regardless.

Awesome!!! Is it two hi fives? And each channels operate individually? So I can have one channel for a clean boost, and the other for drive? And engage both for a boosted OD? Similar to a super duper?
