obviously im sorta new, i had no idea devi started this site.

i think it's bullshit that most of these rewards are "Does not include price of"

why dont you adjust the price of the reward to include "the price of" ?

eh, whatever, i guess im just an asshole

I think there's a lot to be learned about how to run various crowd-sourcing campaigns by the differences in Devi project pitches.

jebus. she has her antics and drama but i wish her the best. i can't imagine how awful it must be to feel like you're in the wrong body. i hope she gets her new vaj, and it's the prettiest vaj that ever did vaj.

..... not gonna lie. little interested in the polaroid option.

That's the thing though, I think she's limiting her potential contributors by offering what she's offering. People who may've participated in this if, for example, she were offering up pedals, may not be so inclined if they don't value her "art" as highly.

Yeah I definitely agree, I was disappointed to see less pedal stuff than I expected. Turns out I think her paintings look pretty but the poetry I read.. did not do it for me. The lack of pedals might turn quite a lot of people away and that's a shame.

All very true.

The rewards on this particular fund raiser seem like they're better suited for Craigslist casual encounters section. Devi should utilize her presence in the pedal world to offer up cool cheap pedals or custom enclosures to the masses. Or just throw her plight up on CL instead and watch the money come tumbling in off body part polaroid requests. All about catering to particular customers/markets when raising funds but her being after a new vag doesn't really mandate these creepy-ish perv oriented rewards imo.

Have Kenfanem build some DISK ECHOS for the cause. I'll gladly throw a whole buncha money at one of those. :thumb:

i will say this about devi, you bought up the point about cheap pedals, i got a number of her awesome circuits for $50-60 from her on facebook. she'll offer certain pedals here and there for crazy cheap prices if you like her page and wait for the status updates. it was kinda the only reason why i kept facebook for while and than i ran through(owned) every devi circuit besides the OK so i just deleted Facebook. one day i will have the OK. and one day i will probably flip it like almost every devi pedal i buy.

i do agree that if her rewards were more musician oriented (which is a big part of her fan base) she would prob get more help. hell i usually buy pedals when shes selling it to help out. but maybe she dosent want to use pedal money to fund this :idk: i feel guilty when spending money from different incomes sometimes, ex.if i ever sold a guitar, its to pay for another guitar and if thats not the case i feel bad. maybe shes trying to separate personal from business on this one.

Yeah, if i didnt just find out devi founded ilf, i would have gone nuts on the double entandres.

The lack of pedals might turn quite a lot of people away and that's a shame.
