Likely timeline this project would be: Finish PCB, order 3 for prototypes, make a prototype to verify the board. Etch the prototype and make 1. I dont have time to build people pedals or make them kits but I can provide all the info to make 1 so you could buy the parts from a supplier and assemble

I might be swayed into organizing a preorder for those who want one, I could order all the parts, send the enclosures to chris for etching, and possibly drill the enclosures. Then assemble all the parts into kits to send to people. But my timeline for that would have to be after september / october, which would give us time to do the appropriate testing as Nick outlined.

As of this moment I am thinking side jacks, and side 9V even in the 1590B for space reasons.

Or maybe even just "D.R."

Hmmmm that's not a bad idea. If you have any font suggestions please post em up! I was thinking of the Doom Room logo to look like solid black version of the video game Doom logo, where the corners hang down and the middle letters are smaller with pointed bottoms:

OshPark says $14.2 for 3 prototype boards with the free shipping (I usually upgrade to next level of shipping, but not worries)

Looking awesome! I love the internal pot idea. Set it and forget it :D Honestly I dont know why more pedals dont use this. Tony and I both have our own ways of keeping track of settings but It'd be great to have them not changable without some effort. IE more effort than putting it into or taking it out of a gig bag.

Wow, that pcb doesn't look like that bad of a build. I'm not going  when i look at it

I really like the internal trimpot idea, gives you variety but no worries about double checking settings right before a gig. And with 14$ + shipping for three pcb's I'm willing to pay for the test boards so we can get this rolling, then if it works out I can get all the parts together and sell the unassembled kits for anyone interested (probably through a preorder). The great thing about building them yourself is that if you want to do any mods to it you can, so everyones pedal could be different which is whats awesome about this DR crew, we value everyones differences.

yea, Magic is very very good with muff mods, and so it Moose 2. I dont have as firm a grasp on them but theres lots of mods you can do to make this into a kool sounding pedal.

Skip if you wanna fund the boards, bring that to me via email

you can say that again.

i'm interested. price and timeline will be relevant of course, but i'm into the idea. i think the build it yourself idea is awesome. partly cause it keeps price reasonable but it's also just a cool project. if etching makes it possible or no trouble to have diffferent designs, i may want to explore the option of making my own design. i think it's a good idea to have a standardized one too for the kits, but if it really is possible for me to send my own i'd like to know. no offense to anyone, but i'm not wild about the chemical chain design and it'd be fun to come up with something on my own. i also like pedals that don't say anything on them. not that the design or etching is a big deal. i could be happy with the chemical chain if that's what needs to happen.

Chris can make different etches, its not too bad I believe (he can chime in) so you can work with the drill template to form your own image ect ect.

People can use that standard design, what I changed in that scheme from the original LBMP is to increase the output cap to 1uF from 100nF, and I modded the EQ to be flat with no mid cut using symmetric low pass and high pass filters.
