The Spring Chicken LE and the 600D have never left my board.
Best buys I've ever made.
I can't say I'm much of a "classic" spring reverb kind of guy - but as a unique sounding reverb...
as an effect...
as a noise-maker...
Uhuhuhuhuh...
So. Good.
GET ON IT!!

Agreed. You can dial the SC in real light and get a "classic" spring sound I suppose but that feels like a terrible waste of it's capabilities.
And the 600D never left my board either. Lucky I'm getting a second chance at a SC tho, one with dwell mod no less. Excite!

Funny... I was doing just that, last night. I always use it in dripping, on the verge of oscillation (or full-out oscillation); so to dial it all the way back and do the "subtle" thing, was a nice surprise!

"Ohhhhhh... riiiiiiight! You have that in there, tooooooooooooo!!"

PGS has a way of never doing that with highly anticipated stuff. Fuckers.
I ordered a couple direct from Malekko for phantasmagorovich and myself but they're not ready to go out the door just yet....
I managed to get in on the first batch of MojoHand FX Villanova vibes at the last moment of a 15% discount at PGS. Score! Pretty disappointed with the pedal though.

I wanna hear comparison between Mr. Black's verbs and this! They both do awesome things....I wonder what the Eterna would sound like with a dime'd chicken after it...or before it...

based on the demo of the spring chicken it's pretty different. My eterna is super ambient sounding, but still clean. The SC seems kinda of gritty sounding. I love the verb in the eternal and don't even use the shimmer a whole lot. I think both of these would make for an amazing combo!

I always thought the eterna's reverb algorithm + the supermoon's modulation would sound killer

I heard somewhere someone saying that something or other would someday make something like that kind of pedal.

PGS Website wrote:"This manufacturer does not allow online discounting. Therefore, online coupon codes are not applicable to this item."
It looks like Malekko has opted out of the "Discount Codes" and PGS is actually honoring that request.
Maybe Prymaxe will follow suit.

I think you used just about every word that starts with "some-"

Ah. Good catch.

No point in waiting for PGS then- I think I'll order from Malekko.
Regarding Prymaxe: while they are still honoring discounts, this Spring Chicken release is exclusive to PGS and Malekko direct.

Mine and phantasmagorovich's just arrived from Malekko today. Sounds every bit as good as my original only no hiss this time. And the dwell mod =

Hard to tell from pics but this one isn't the same color as the OG pink sparkle Chicken, more of a purple sparkle this time out. Or lavender more specifically.
