The thing that finally killed it was a couple of the big caps went. We salvaged the speakers, put them in a friend's 2x12 combo something or other and they sounded great, and tossed the rest as schematics didn't exist and I talked to the then-expert at Fender who'd been at the Sunn plant since the early 70s in Oregon.

For the footswitches, are they RCA type all in a row?

No, its a round recessed input with four 14 gauge prongs sticking out.

Today it rang out when I kicked it, it didnt do that yesterday. I moved it thismorning and set it down kinda hard. I think that fixed some thing but the knobs still dont bring reverb. On channel b when the reverb is turned up all the way, it compresses the signal...which is interesting. I'm gonna fiddle with it later this week.

You guys, this amp is so gooood. Plugged into both inputs, drive on channel b with the level on 1 and channel a clean and all the way up...inspiring.

that's exactly the way the tank in my Laney behaved before it headed to the Happy Hunting Ground.

Loose wire or Spring... There really aint much to a Verb Tank... I checked the interwebs and found this to be a problem with Beta Leads... Maybe a foot switch or a cable that you can short out will fick it...

SUNN KVLT!!!
