i have this fucking stigma about mexi/jap/foreign non-usa/german guitars. why the fuck cant they make some of these in the usa. i would fuck the shit out of those mustangs and i hate short scale.

Because if they did do that they would cost twice as much and nobody would buy them
Don't worry about it dude, if it plays good and sounds good who cares where it's made? I bought my squier J Mascis because it played better than every USA fender under $2000 at the same store Made in China, DGAF.

i know. i have played other peoples mim and mij fenders that are amazing. the few i have bought turned out to be lemons however. just bad personal experiences. i had photo flame mij strat that was babied and the finish literally peeled off. it was pretty too :/ i guess as silly as it sounds however subconsciously i like my guitars to be made in merica. mailed to me by being shot out by automatic rifles. fuck yea.

im so comfortable. extra comfort. to be honest im a hippy and don't believe in guns but it seemed to fit the theme.

Anyone seen prices on these yet? Specifically the Mustang with P90s?

I don't think the AK/AR thing works so well. A guitar made with the loose tolerances of an AK doesn't sound like something I'd be interested in. I don't get a lot of mud and sad in my guitars while in the middle of guitar duels.

Mustangs are just too tiny for me, the scale, the body, the tone. I've always wanted a good jazzmaster but I figure it'll be more interesting to build one through Warmoth.

Video of the mustang on osg. P90s sound like balls but I'm happy they did it. Wish the burst stang was maple block neck.

I think they are under 400 and made to mod. I'd get p90s sized hbs in that jazzy.

I, for one, think it's fabulous that Fender is finally making a Jag/JM with humbuckers and a traditional vibrato.

Louderthangod, yeah I don't like shorter scale guitars much, either, just because I'm used to the longer strat and tele scale. Are you allowed to talk about guns in California?
