Really like working with Matt at Ataraxia (he does the board layouts for Shoe Pedals on the side).
I also have had great experiences with Tom at Fuzzhugger, Eric at Young Pedals, Evan Coffey, and also Travis Morris who makes pickups for me along with Jaime at the Creamery Pickups and Curtis Novak (although I always have to check which leads are which, the pickups themselves are great-sounding).
My amp builder, Cono Fusco out of Queens NY is also fantastic.
G.S. Wyllie, though not super represented here, is also a great builder.
ARC effects also does great reproductions of classic fuzz.
Never really had a pedal purchasing relationship with Blakemore, but we've done some charity auction stuff together that went well.
Only real negative builder experiences I've had are this dude who goes under Triode Amplification down in Florida (did some really dangerously suspect work on an amp I had bought used and some kind of stupid things to my current old Traynor Custom Reverb which I bought from a friend in Florida who happened to have bought it from the same dude. I mostly reversed those, though, so the reverb now work even more strongly than it should lol)
And also Soulkitchen. That dude took like forever (like, I'm talking a year) to send me a simple fuzz pedal with a knob that had a screw mising so it wouldnt go on and a bum LED. I fixed it and sold the thing cause i never wanted to play it due to how mcuh of a douche he'd been.

lauwiz made me a custom fm2 just the way I wanted. Year or two later, It is still a staple on my live board and he's great to work with.
Sonny is also a blast to work with. Got me a Bluebeard so fast. Also been on my live board for a couple years.
I only use one other pedal live, so these two guys are always on my mind. Excellent dudes.

Evan (Skully/DIRGE) has kept me updated on how he plans on building a pedal, even though he won't have time to actually build it before the DIRGEBABY makes its way into the world
Tom D (FuzzhuggerFX) always kept me updated on my custom built AB. When I wanted transparent knobs he only had 5/6 in stock, so he ordered and sent me the last one free of charge
Ryan (Dr.Scientist) kept me updated and gave me a good deal on two of his pedals when they were delayed by only a week or two, without me asking or hinting for it. Also got a free t-shirt!
Andrew (intothegroove/Industrialectric) is keeping me updated on my ED and RM. He even sent me the ED before the RM, as it was finished first, without any extra shipping costs!
Brian (SS/BS) is sending me a new knob for the No Memory beacuse I managed to crack the knob when screwing it back on after cleaning it
jwar (AcidSplash designs) wrote a sweet message for me inside my custom Devi pedal

Recently I had to send my hummingbird pedal back to EQD because the speed wasn't as fast as what I had seen online and wanted to have it tweaked. Spoke with Karl at EQD, super great guy. They repaired the pedal & sent it back within a week. Fedex lost my pedal!! Karl & team filed a claim and sent me out a replacement in a day. Great service, fantastic people to deal with.

I want to throw some love out there for Doug Castro of Darkglass and Roy of Greenhouse Effects. Although I've never had custom pedals from these guys, they are two of the most kind and personable builders I've met.

Eric from Full Nelson Effects will pretty much clone anything for you at a bargain, make any custom pedal within his talent scope and respond to any questions/concerns you have within the day

I think I got one of the older Dirge customs like 2 and a half years ago. Skully worked so damn hard on it too as it wasn't an easy build and he even added stuff I couldn't have dreamed of, then Dan W killed the etch on it, never letting go of my Tonal Fucking Destruction
I've emailed back and forth with Ryan too, it's been a while though. He's one of the nicest, most enthusiastic dudes, so awesome!
Aen built me a custom Dwarfcraft like 3 years back and then he and his wife hand delivered the Pitchgrinder prototype for me to try out so I got to hang and talk pedals and music with them for a bit, both awesome people!
Really I've never had a bad experience with anyone on here or really with buying pedals in general, it's a wonderful community.

Lao Wiz is super personable and very easy to talk the about custom ideas.
& I just met Bill from Holowon/The Syle. Friendly dude. He's modding my Volca Beats so we'll see how it goes!
