Congrats dude!
And yeah, I've really started to determine value on whether or not I could build it myself. If it's beyond my capacity, I can justify the price a little bit more.

Strymon Timeline. I love my other delays so it mainly gets used for lofi stuff or weird ice manipulations, the latter of which alone makes the pedal worth it.
Also, Digitech Whammy I. And the Spaceman Aphelion, although I bought that new so it wasn't at the insane prices it sells for now.

Er...
Bee Baa
M13
Poly-Grace
Valve Klipper (in my mind, this was more of an amp)
Echo Dream (the newer one is way better priced tho)
Boss DM-2 (not >$300, but pretty damned spensive)
Old Rats
But, I mean, I tend to hover around the $100-150 range. Sometimes though, you gotta throw down for some pedal.
But it's kinda sad how much higher my concept of expensive is now. I remember when I got my Rusty Box, I was amazed I had spent $175 on a pedal.

$180 is the most I've ever paid for a pedal and it wasn't quite worth it (vexter fuzz factor).

Truth. When I bought my first boutique delay I was like 'holy shit I just spent $150 on a pedal'. I'm kind of back at that point now though...

I don't think I've ever spent more than a buck fifty on a pedal.

I think the most I spent on a pedal was for the TimeLine. Then I sold it...

I think $300 is the most I would ever spend but I don't know if there's anything out there I would drop it on

Re: high priced pedals you think are totally worth it
the most i've ever spent was for my Randy's, which i paid a premium for because i wanted the first version. that was like $260 IIRC. i paid over $200 for my TC Phaser XII, and it's worth every penny. the Street Sweeperwas lso $250 with shipping and is brilliant. i really want the Delay Llama Plus, but i can't spend $500 on another fucking delay when i'm not working and have six delays already counting the rackmounts. that's a perfect version of something i really want but can't justify; others are the Snazzy FX filter module, the Sonic Destruction 14-stage phaser, and the Pigtronix looper, the latter of which is almost justifiable. to me, the Faye's Her doesn't live up to the price; on the other hand, if you need chorus the Cosmichorus is your one-stop shop.
i take a certain pride that 80% of my rig was bought used, usually for bargain prices. there's nothing like getting a $200 box for $80, or a Yammy or Alesis rackmount for $50.

Secondhand and found gear is where it's at as the dollar goes a lot farther...and I find old stuff particularly cool.
My 1x12 speaker cab was found at the local recycling center...a price that cant be beat.
As for the current guitar chain, 4 pedals were purchased new out of 13.
Street Sweeper @250, Shape EQ @200, Goodbye 24 @115, EX-P @30.
Of them, the best money spent was probably on the EQ, as it's always-on...but that SS has proven to be the solution to my wah problem (I suck at it, but dig the sound) so its value far exceeds the price IMO.
And beyond pride, I still feel a sense of satisfaction from getting (what I consider) bargains on stuff I never see myself flipping.
Last april, the '81 DMM for $300. Last may, Effectrode PC-2A @245. Back in Jan, Tremolessence v3 @180.
Yes, that's over $700 spent on 3 pedals...but the functionality and access to sounds I
have provided countless hours of enjoyment and personal growth.Small price to pay for an investment in oneself.
When I started buying pedals 2 years ago I would spend around $100-150ea...but discovered I generally have expensive taste and my recent purchases are more like 175-250, with a few extreme outliers here and there at both ends of the spectrum.
Shopping secondhand is a great way to protect against major loss if you're gear fickle like me; where ever-changing audio taste+consistent curiosity keeps you wanting to explore different things...and there's something additionally rewarding about making shit happen with unwanted, even neglected resources...at any or no cost...

I'm going to echo a few people and say the Moog Ring Modulator is definitely worth the price of admission. Beautiful sounding Ring Mod, Tremolo and Overdrive with an absurd amount of patchabililty and weirdness potential.

Also, $200 is the absolute limit on fuzz as far as I'm concerned. There's stuff out there above that price range that I'd like but it's untouchable.

D*A*M, Ghost, Faustone are defiantly worth the money.
Having Tom make you exactly what you want is money well spent.
Yeah $300+ pedals do put a dent in the wallet, but in the long run it is a lot better than buying and flipping a boat load of cheaper pedals trying to get the sound in your head.

I think the most i've spent on a pedal is a cosmi for $250
and the Empress VMSD for $250
They're both very cool but I would for sure never buy them for the new price.
Generally I try not to buy anything over $200. and if it's over that much I would hope I would never want to sell it.
I haven't been making any music or playing out anywhere so I'm not sure if a lot of my stuff is gonna stick around, but I love trying stuff.
