jia. i have the delays covered in the TimeLine and the M9 for some of the silly toanz. i have a super specific way i use the PF, so one at a time doesn't bother me.

but i'm with you. at $500 the feature set is kinda.... not impressive.

if they were like $300 base, then add models? that would be really cool.

I would even go for $500 and $20 for all the algorithms in one of the factor peds but $20 per!? That's dumb.

Did anyone look at the math I did? It's essentially the same price as buying the pedal anyway. Why all the hate? Sure you have an initial cost, but it looks like it may be well worth it. Plus who know what Eventide will do with this thing when they do updates and such. I think it's pretty innovative.

500 is a bit much but I guarantee that fucker will come down or be on the devil Prymaxe site. hah

Huge difference is you can only run one effect at a time. So comparing one h9 to all the factor pedals does not work. Now 4 factor pedals compared to all the factor pedals that works so add $1500 to the h9 side. Actually that would be pretty cool, you could change the stacking off your effects. Space into pitch factor!? Hmm maybe I could make dew with 3 h9s.

If the pedal and algorithm costs worked out better I could see value of having two or three H9s and being able to, in effect, switch pedal order without repatching or using a switcher pedal. I've had similar thoughts before of comparing loading up on the Factor series versus getting an Eclipse. It's a matter of deciding how you would use the stuff before you even get your hands on it.

I'll watch with interest to see if they do algorithm sales routinely like Moog does with their iOS app stuff. Half-price sales infrequently but routinely and this wouldn't be quite so painful.

yeah. just the money value doesn't really represent the differences. thanks for breaking it down like that tho pimp.

it's a good idea, but way over priced i think. i mean, charge what you think you need to charge after R&D and all, but even at $400 it's going to end up $500 easy by the time you put some good stuff in it.

meh. i was super juiced about this, not that much now.

so. yeah.

FUCK. IT.

D.O.S.ey, you decided you didna want a PF? 'm gonna list mines as soon as i get the one patch i use in a song so i have to duplicate to sound identical on the H9'er.

Yeah, I was disappointed by the Space for the money. Most annoying thing for me was there's ALWAYS a slight lag when you switch it on. Ridiculous flaw for the price tbh.

that's weird. i have no lag on the PF. cannnnn't wait for the M9. been wobbling at the H9 Controller App. looks sooooo gooood.

So ben... What do ya think? I was thinking about picking up a mod factor but I guess this May be worth it. PF into H9 into TF.

it's ridicu-awesome.

super tiny, very smart layout, the app for doing patch design is PERFECT. it's just wonnnnnnnderful.

I HAVE NO REGRETS.
