it would have to be two electrics for me. i seem to break a string onstage and having a backup always makes sense. i just had a CIJ Mustang when i was in my teens i would break a string every other gig it seemed like, and being young i didn't have/couldn't afford a second. it happened so much we wrote a song called "Stringbreaker" the bass, drums, and vocalst would play when i'd break a string. they would play that until i got a new string on. it sounded like Flipper from what i remember :)

Wasn't my choice, first thing I did when I picked it up was I got a word that just wouldn't go away and a song that just screamed to come out.

It's not my "best" guitar by and means but I've never bonded with an instrument (or damn near any other object) like that in my life.

Yeah, I think my G&L has that status. IT is a good instrument, but I think that I'll go homeless before selling it.

Yea, I have a couple instruments that fit into the status at that point, and my will states "play at your own risk, I advise burning it."
