Oh wow. WOW.
I know earlier in this thread I mentioned the TFR - and I still think that has a great dose of creamy low end - but I've since received an ECT, and now I truly understand what MASSIVE low end is. This thing is a beast. It is an explosively charged box of raging green rumble.
It also seems like I can't get a bad tone out of this pedal. So far no matter the settings or switches engaged, everything sounds good - in different ways of course, but good nonetheless.
I haven't been this excited about a pedal for a long, long time, if ever. Exciting days lay ahead playing around with this animal. I cannot wait.

Been looking for a fuzz that puts out massive low end on bass as well.
IME I don't recommend the TAFM, sounds good, but I don't think it excels in massive low end, at least on my rig. However I felt with guitar it was voiced with a tone of low end

HMMM... Been using a TAFM and BASS BLOOM for all my Bass and Baritone use... Depends on the Clean settings and the Amps...

yup ECT is pretty killer! it is not as massive as a sovtek but it doesn't lose your mids

so yeah if you just want a massive wall of sludge... green muff...

Yes. The ECT retains incredible definition to go along with its low end and knock-you-down fuzz. Its just so damn intimidating and aggressive. I love it.

Well, interestingly enough, the ECT in band practice didn't go over quite as well, for exactly the same reasons that I mentioned above that I love it. The guys I play with felt it was just *too* intimidating and aggressive for what I needed it for...I suppose they may have a point, as we are doing mainly blues/rock covers and stuff. Our lead guitarist actually loved it when he gave it a shot, but he's already set for fuzz otherwise I may have tried to sell it to him.
So as much as I love this pedal and wish that I had a project going that it fit into well, its overkill for what I'm doing at the moment. As a result, its up on the block, in case anyone is looking for one.
All that said, I'm sure I'll own another someday. Just because it was overwhelming for me right now doesn't mean it isn't a phenomenal pedal with MASSIVE LOW END!

Hi basslovers!
Anyone knows about the MXR M182 El Grande Bass Fuzz ?
I can have it for cheap and I hear there should be some bass available with this unit. But first I need some IloveFuzz-approval...
Or is this too non-boutique for you purists?

The Devi Ever Cherry Pop had ridiculous gobs of low end. Just... insane. Unfortunately, it could be a bit lacking in ye olde mids, resulting in a loss in the mix... but believe me, you would definitely still FEEL it!
