yep, exactly

you have the gain at zero? and so the volume all the way up? i get the switch pop with the volume at max also

i have the barbershop at gain max/sag between 1/2 o'clock and vol to balance, about 9 o'clock
i usually just leave it like that, like a one trick pony but its a great trick that hits the spot

cool.

With my fender-based rig, the Barbershop is a bit too bright if I were to run at those settings. I put the gain at 9:00, sag at 10:30 and volume almost at 3:00. That gives me a bit of added character and sparkle, as well as some really nice grit when I dig in. Would love to be able to use the full gain range of the pedal, but that's what other pedals are for!
'Tis better to have bought and flipped than never to have bought at all.

and then there is putting the barbershop at the end of the chain and it just tightens everything up, takes out the wooly low end and gives the sound a bit more kick

Have a mini enroute! Looking forward to it. I still have the SuperBolt on my board, but I had one of those "AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" (clouds parting, sun shining in) moments last week. I used the FUCK (full-sized) for a song I usually use the SuperBolt for and it just kicked so much ass. The fuck is just so much richer, sonically. The SuperBolt is pretty scant and harsh (which I like); but the fuck is just so much more pleasing, overall. Anyway, that night I came home from practice and bought a Mini! It's probably going to be a bit before it gets here, but I'm stoked to try it stacked in to the full-sized fuck. WOOT
