Roll back your volume knob, brah.

I have both a Black Forrest and a Pharaoh Supreme. The BF is last in my chain and I tend to keep everything set to noon, and keep it nearly always on as a "make-everything-sound-better" type thing. Its also fantastic as a clean boost, or crank the gain for a classic Zeppelin type OD. when stacked with the PS, it's just ridiculous, in the best possible way. Another fun thing is to set the gain 3/4 way up, or all the way, with the eq to taste, and roll back the volume on the guitar, and it cleans up fantastically, then dime the guitar for leads.
Everyone talks about how stackable the Pharaoh is, and how the LSTR is the muff to end all muffs, but really i think the Black Forrest might be my favorite, because it's so versital and so adaptable to whatever sound you're going for...Stack with Pharaoh=Doom City. Dime the gain=Zepp territory. Roll back the guitar and you can get anywhere from ZZtop to RHCP.

It excels as this.
Rev Superbass is also good for this on lower gain settings. I miss that thing.
This Witch Burner is sounding pretty good. I reckon stacking it with a BF would bring the Large Titted Gnarwhal out of hiding and out to play.
Hmm, dual pedal....Black Witch.....Forest of Burning Hagravens.....

But you could have the BF as a clean boost or on all the time, and the Witch set as a dirty OD. Similar, buts set ddifferent. Hell, didn't SRV rock two Tubescreamers set different?
