The bass player of my band has a super old Fender Musicmaster bass. I think it's early 70's.

The thing takes such a beating and still keeps dishing it out. Really has that vintage bass tone with low sustain and sharp pick attack and is pretty punchy. He runs it through a Traynor Monoblock for the heavynessssssss.

The basses can be had for really cheap aswell (around the 500-800 mark).

Definatly not an original pickup. I have played them with originals and they sound great. Still a tad on the muddy side, but just EQ and play LOUD

A guy emailed me saying he wanted to sell me one.

I've seen lefty Music Master basses from time to time in Toronto for sale.

Yeah man! I missed out a couple years back on a white lefty music master bass.... should have bought it. We'll see how this goes I guess!
I miss having my White Mustang I used to have, it would be nice to get another but in bass form! haha.
